Petting Zoo

There are some things you just can’t get in the city. Ever since I was little I considered Up North as my little piece of paradise. I love being by the water and surrounded by woods/nature. It’s so peaceful and the scenery is impeccable. So every year my family takes a week-long vacation up to our lake house; and each time it gets harder and harder to go back to the city. I fed a bear, took a selfie with a zebra, pet a giant tortoise, got my purse chewed by a baby goat, hung out with a bunch of deer, and a giraffe tried to make out with me—I’d say it was a pretty epic day at Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua, WI. Growing up we knew it as “Jim Peck’s”—the place where you can go up to domesticated deer and literally just hangout with them. But things have changed a lot since I was a little one! They now have
